About me

Hi dear yogi and dancer, my name is Genia

MY VALUES

constant aspiration

sincerity and openness

empathy

respecting borders

MY WAY

So far my way has been long and I hope to still have a long way in front of me. It led me from my country of origin Russia to Zurich, from being an architect to becoming a photographer and yoga teacher. What remains constant is my love for the movement in its every expression - moving forward in life, moving my body, moving people around me. Inspiration is my moving power - everything I do starts with an inspiration.

IN MY YOGA CLASSES I ASPIRE TO

Hold safe space for students
Ensure safe practice
Keeping the breath as center of the practice
Give variations according to the anatomy and physical abilities of the students
Stay in the authentic yogic tradition

ARGENTINE DANCES

My passion for tango lead me to other argentine dances, the main of which is called chacarera. It emerged to be a source of an immense power and wisdom. Since 2018 I pass a small part of this wisdom which is available to me to all the interested. See more about argentine dances on the website the project adentro.ch of which I am part and one of the founders.

In my dance classes I aspire to transmit all the aspects of the authentic dances staying true to the argentine culture and tradition.
